A Few Basics


In this film Eyjólfur teaches us a few basics regarding the training of the Icelandic horse, and horsemanship. The techniques taught are of immediate, positive and constructive benefit. The teaching is focused and methodical.

The film is divided into seven chapters:

Outline and Balance


In this film Eyjólfur continues his teaching from where he left off in his last film. Outline and balance are shown in connection with basic body structure of the horse. The main principles of how to develop better movements are explained.

In this third film in the series, Eyjólfur continues to instruct us about training the Icelandic Horse and highlighting the qualities of good horsemanship. Paramount in all of this is the welfare of the horse.
